NSW Regional Safety Conference – Newcastle
NSW Regional Safety Conference in Newcastle
Sometime with conferences it can feel like the it’s the same people talking about the same topics …….and I’ve been around so long I’m sad to admit I get a little bored!
However the 2 (very full) days at the Safety Conference in Newcastle last week was a well organised event with very high- quality speakers. A local safety professional Sarah-Jane Dunford organised this event pro bono to support the safety professionals in the area .
We had Keith Jonson from Fulton Hogan on how to prove safety works: Vahidd Pirghadiri from AGL discussing what it takes to be a safety leader: Sarah-Jane had us playing with Lego to explain how this can enhance safety training: Terry Wong explaining the difference between fish wings and chicken wings in relation to sprains and strains and so so many more fantastic speakers.
Well done and congratulation to Sarah-Jane Dunford for this great event.
