heavy vehicle inspectionStarting on 1 August 2016 the NHVR is conducting the largest ever health check on the mechanical condition of Australia’s heavy vehicle fleet.

Approximately 1.7% of the heavy vehicles across Australia will be inspected by Authorised Officers within each jurisdiction.  The National Roadworthiness Baseline Survey (NRBS) is the first time that heavy vehicles will be inspected across the nation against the same criteria (using the National Heavy Vehicle Inspection Manual).
