Gender Parity
The World Economic Forum predicted in 2015 we wouldn’t achieve global gender parity until 2133 i.e. achieve equal outcomes for women and men – guess I won’t be around to see this!
FYI: In Australia the full-time average earnings difference between men and women is $277.70 per week, a gap of 17.3%. Lowest in South Australia and highest in Western Australia.
Sometimes statistics can be fun e.g. “Couples who share domestic responsibilities have more sex”* *(Child Trends Data Bank, Family Structure: Indicators on Children and Youth March 2015)
