Noise contour map
The contour map below is based on a manufacturing plant with high continuous noise levels. Noise control maps come in A4 or A3 and can be laminated for display on notice boards. The maps:
- motivate employees to wear hearing protectors,
- raise awareness of noisy areas,
- show areas where hearing protection should be worn,
- identify main noise sources,
- indicate workers who are likely to exceed 85 dBA daily noise exposures,
- provide motivation for engineering noise control,
